Nicolas Jackson’s German adventure is coming to an end. Bayern Munich has decided not to activate the purchase option included in the Senegalese striker’s loan.
At the end of the season, the 24-year-old will return to Chelsea FC, his original club, where his future now remains uncertain.

Arriving in Bavaria last summer on a conditional loan, Nicolas Jackson needed to meet a specific criterion for his transfer to Bayern Munich to become permanent: start 40 matches as a starter. That goal was ultimately not achieved.
In total, the Senegalese striker played 21 matches in the Bayern shirt, scoring five goals and providing one assist. These statistics were deemed insufficient by the Bavarian management to consider a permanent transfer. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bayern has already informed Chelsea FC of its decision not to activate the purchase option.
However, the return to London might just be a stepping stone. According to Topskills Sports UK, several clubs are closely monitoring the situation of the Senegalese international, including Fenerbahçe SK, eager to strengthen their attack. Having passed through Villarreal CF and trained at Casa Sports, Jackson remains a sought-after player, valued for his power and ability to challenge opposing defenses.
