The Spanish champions have made a definitive decision regarding the future of Marcus Rashford, who is on loan this season.
FC Barcelona is having a particularly active start to the transfer window. The Catalan club has already secured the arrival of Anthony Gordon for a fee that could reach 80 million euros, including bonuses. The management is also involved in several major deals, including Julian Alvarez, who is also being tracked by Real Madrid, and Bernardo Silva, who is courted by Atlético Madrid.

Other situations remain to be resolved, starting with João Cancelo, currently on loan from Al-Hilal, whom Barça wants to keep. In this context, an important decision has been made regarding Marcus Rashford, with a purchase option set at 30 million euros.
According to several Spanish media outlets, the Catalan club has decided not to activate the purchase option. This stance is reportedly due to the arrival of Gordon, deemed a priority by the coaching staff, and the sporting choices validated by Hansi Flick, who has favored a different profile.
Statistically, Rashford has played 32 La Liga matches, including 18 as a starter, with a tally of 8 goals and 7 assists.
However, the situation may not be completely set in stone. Some sources suggest a slight possibility for a return later in the summer transfer window, as the player wishes to continue his experience in Catalonia. Nevertheless, Manchester United is expected to reclaim their player at the end of his loan, unless a convincing offer comes from another club, particularly Bayern Munich, which is also interested in his profile.
