10- André Kana-Biyik (15 goals)
Kana-Biyik was a key member of the Cameroon national team between 1980 and 1990. He represented the Indomitable Lions at several African Nations Cups and World Cups. He took part in the 1990 World Cup in Italy, where Cameroon put in a historic performance. With 15 goals, André Kana-Biyik is one of Cameroon’s top scorers.
9- Emmanuel Kunde (17 goals)
Emmanuel Kunde takes part in numerous international tournaments with Cameroon. The Cameroon international has won 127 caps and scored 17 goals for the national team. He has won several trophies with the Indomitable Lions, including: The African Cup of Nations in 1984 and 1988, Winner of the Afro-Asian Nations Cup in 1985.
8- Achille Webo (19 goals)
During the qualifiers for the 2006 World Cup and the 2006 African Cup of Nations, Achille Webo was a great help to the national team, finishing top scorer with 5 headed goals, as his head is a major asset in his game. The Cameroon international is now one of the country’s top scorers, with 19 goals to his name.
7- Éric Maxim Choupo-Moting (21 goals)
Choupo-Moting won several youth caps with Germany, but in 2010 he opted to play for the Cameroon team, where he has been captain since 2018 and with whom he won bronze at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. Éric Maxim Choupo-Moting has left his mark on the Cameroon national team, scoring 21 goals.
6-Alphonse Tchami (21 goals)
Alphonse Tchami took part in two World Cups with the Cameroon team, in 1994 and 1998. He made 57 appearances for Cameroon and scored 21 goals.
5- François Omam-Biyik (26 goals)
François Omam Biyik is a former Cameroon international. He played in three World Cups with the Cameroon national team (1990, 1994 and 1998). He scored a famous headed goal against Diego Maradona’s Argentina team in the opening match of the 1990 World Cup on 8 June. The 51-year-old scored 26 goals for the Cameroon national team.
4- Patrick Mboma (33 goals)
From 1995 to 2004, Mboma was at the forefront of the Cameroon national team’s attack, playing 57 matches in all and scoring 33 goals. Patrick Mboma again led his team to victory in the African Cup of Nations in 2002, and finished top scorer (4 goals) in his last international competition, the CAN 2004 in Tunisia.
3- Vincent Aboubakar (37 goals)
One of Vincent Aboubakar’s most memorable moments with the national team was his performance at the CAN 2017 in Gabon. He scored the decisive goal in the final against Egypt, giving Cameroon victory. He has scored 37 goals for the national team.
2- Roger Milla (43 goals)
Roger Milla’s career was a glorious one. The Cameroon international took part in several competitions with the Cameroon national team. He left his mark on football, particularly in Cameroon. With his 43 goals, Milla is Cameroon’s second-highest scorer.
