As the 2022-2023 season draws to a close, many African players<\/a> have distinguished themselves over the course of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Osimhen the undisputed number 1<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Nigerian international will forever go down in the history of the Italian championship and of Africa after an exceptional season. Victor Osimhen became the first African player in Serie A<\/a> history to win the top scorer award. The former Napoli player scored 26 league goals to help Napoli win the Serie A title this season, 33 years on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oshimen ended the 2022-2023 season as the top African scorer in Europe, with 31 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pharaoh and Nsam\u00e9 on the podium<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On the second step of our podium is the inevitable Pharaoh, Mo Salah of Liverpool, who ended his season with 30 goals in all competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is ahead of Young Boys’ Cameroon striker Jean-Pierre Nsam\u00e9, who has 30 goals to his name, level with the Egyptian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mbaye Diagne in 4th place<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 4th place in our ranking is Senegal international Mbaye Diagne. The Senegalese international scored 25 goals in all competitions with Fatih during the 2022\/2023 season in 35 games played.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terem Moffi scored 21 goals in all competitions for Nice during the 2022\/2023 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
