Just a few hours before the highly-anticipated fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, an unexpected incident set the world alight. During the face-off after the official weigh-in, an altercation broke out, marked by a spectacular slap from Mike Tyson to Paul. While this gesture shocked the public, it was Jake Paul’s reaction that caused such an outcry.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything seemed to be under control during the weigh-in ceremony between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, who will face off in a boxing match this Saturday at 4am (GMT). <\/a>The two fighters, although tense, had until then maintained a certain courtesy in their exchanges. But when it came to the staring contest, Jake Paul crossed a line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to several witnesses, he intentionally stepped on the foot of 57-year-old legend Mike Tyson, in an apparent attempt to provoke him.  The result was not long in coming. In a flash, Tyson responded with a dry slap to Paul’s face. “I don’t think Jake showed enough respect to behave like that. Mike just put him in his place,”<\/em> said Tom Patti, a close friend of Mike Tyson who was present at the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the slap, things almost got out of hand. Jake Paul, visibly surprised but provocative, tried to retaliate verbally. Security guards immediately intervened to separate the two fighters before a full-blown brawl broke out.  For his part, Mike Tyson left the stage with a scathing statement. “The conversations are over”.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
