Rio Ferdinand a soutenu la victoire de Chelsea dans la Carabao Cup de cette saison.

Chelsea s’est qualifié pour la finale après avoir battu Tottenham, son rival londonien, 3-0 sur l’ensemble des deux manches lors d’une demi-finale aller-retour et attend maintenant de savoir qui sera à Wembley entre Arsenal et Liverpool.

Sur leur chemin vers la finale, les Blues ont battu quatre équipes de Premier League : Aston Villa, Southampton, Brentford et Tottenham.

Liverpool et Arsenal se sont quittés sur un score nul et vierge lors du match aller de la demi-finale à Anfield et le match retour est prévu jeudi à l’Emirates Stadium.

Rio Ferdinand has backed Chelsea to win this season’s Carabao Cup.

Chelsea qualified for the final after beating London rivals Tottenham 3-0 on aggregate in a two-legged semi-final and now awaits the outcome of the Wembley showdown between Arsenal and Liverpool.

On their way to the final, the Blues beat four Premier League teams: Aston Villa, Southampton, Brentford and Tottenham.

Liverpool and Arsenal played out a goalless draw in the first leg of the semi-final at Anfield and the second leg is scheduled for Thursday at the Emirates Stadium.
