The former Paris Saint-Germain player, however, wanted to temper the media frenzy, reminding everyone that the situation is far from settled. “Right now, the player is fully focused on the national team, he’s in a World Cup, and he’s very close to qualifying for the knockout stage… That’s all he’s thinking about, and we are considering the possibility of a departure from Chelsea, but nothing is concrete or confirmed with any club yet,” he explained.
