Real Madrid has made Vitinha a priority to strengthen their midfield next summer. But this operation looks particularly tricky, as PSG has a major advantage in trying to keep their playmaker.
In Spain, the name Vitinha keeps popping up in connection with Real Madrid. This Sunday morning, AS adds fuel to the fire, stating that the Portuguese international is the absolute priority for the Merengues to bolster their midfield next summer. The 25-year-old has taken his game to another level under Luis Enrique, establishing himself as a key player for PSG.

The goal is clear for the White House: build a squad capable of reclaiming La Liga and shining again in the Champions League, two competitions the club is still competing in this season. Vitinha is thus the number one target for Florentino Pérez, who also appreciates the profile of young Kees Smit.
Spain Keeps Linking Vitinha to Real Madrid
But it’s no secret that prying Vitinha away from PSG is going to be extremely complicated. First, because the Portuguese is an undisputed starter in Paris, where he is under contract until 2029. Second, his market value is estimated at 110 million euros by Transfermarkt, a sum that gives the European champions plenty of room to maneuver in any potential negotiations.
Another significant factor: the relationship between Real Madrid and PSG is currently very tense. Since the Super League episode, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and Florentino Pérez have been out of sync, making any dialogue between the two clubs particularly delicate.
And the complexity of the situation doesn’t stop there. Beyond discussions with Paris, Real will also have to deal with Jorge Mendes, the player’s agent, known for his toughness in negotiations.
