Things are heating up following the controversial final between Senegal and Morocco. On Tuesday evening, the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) took to the public with a statement about its appearance before the CAF disciplinary jury. This hearing is part of the process initiated after reports from match officials and the objections raised by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).

The FSF, represented by its Secretary General and legally assisted by Master Seydou Diagne, a well-known lawyer in the sports field, attended the hearing. This move shows the FSF’s commitment to clarify the accusations and protect the image of Senegalese football.
Besides the Federation, national coach Pape Thiaw and players Iliman Ndiaye and Ismaïla Sarr were also heard by the CAF disciplinary body, where they presented their defense arguments. The FSF notes that the case has been put under deliberation by the disciplinary jury, with a 48-hour deadline set by its president for the final decision to be communicated.
