In a negative spiral since the start of Afcon 2023, Cameroon is playing for its survival in the competition against Gambia this Tuesday during the last day of the group stage. Rigobert Song, national coach of the Indomitable Lions, made strong choices.

Cameroon faces Gambia this Tuesday evening for the third day of the group stage of Afcon 2023. Held in check by Guinea, then beaten by Senegal, Cameroon is in an uncomfortable position and needs a victory to qualify for the round of 16.

And faced with this challenge, Rigobert Song made totally strong choices. André Onana, starts on the bench and gives way to Fabrice Ondoa. The Cameroon coach and manager also deprived himself of Moukoudi in central defense and Ngamaleu in attack. On the other hand, Karl Toko Ekambi is once again aligned alongside Magri and Georges Kevin Nkoudou.

Cameroon : Ondoa, Nouhou, Wooh, Castelletto, Tchato, Ntcham, Zambo-Anguissa, Yongwa, Karl Toko Ekambi, Magri, Nkoudou

Gambia : Gaye, Sanneh, Colley, Gomez, Mendy, Manneh, Bobb, Jallow, Minteh, Sowe, Barrow
