The draw for the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2025) will take place next April at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The race for a place in Africa’s flagship competition kicks off in September, with the first two days of the qualifiers.
Two further rounds are scheduled for the two international windows (FIFA Day) in October and November.
At the end of these 6 days, we’ll know the identity of the 23 nations that will take part in this continental tournament, in addition to the host country, Morocco.
Before that happens, there is a preliminary round to be played, which will take place in March, according to the following schedule:
Somalia vs Eswatini
Sao Tome vs. South Sudan
Chad vs Mauritius
Djibouti vs Liberia
