Guinea could face a major disappointment following their defeat against Tanzania in the qualifiers.
Although the decision is not yet official, reports from multiple media outlets on Monday, November 25, suggest that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has dismissed the complaint filed by the Guinean Football Federation (FEGUIFOOT).
The complaint alleged an irregularity during the match. While CAF confirmed receiving the request, it has yet to issue an official verdict. This silence has fueled suspense and various speculations. However, recent updates indicate that the Taifa Stars, Tanzania’s national team, were only fined $50,000.
For now, the situation remains unclear. The Syli National and their supporters will have to wait a bit longer to learn the final outcome of this matter.
