Ghana failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Following the Black Stars’ elimination, Ghanaian soccer legend Abedi Pelé sent a message of comfort and motivation.
Placed in Group F, the Ghanaian team finished last with just 3 points, behind Angola (1st with 14 points), Sudan (2nd with 8 points) and Niger (3rd with 7 points).
As a result, the Black Stars will not be taking part in the tournament in Morocco. For Abedi Pelé, the important thing is not to dwell on the past and concentrate on the future. He stresses the importance of hard work to get back to the level expected.
“Whatever has happened, we mustn’t look back. We simply have to move forward and work hard to achieve our goals. To become a great soccer team or a great soccer nation, you have to work hard and put things right to guarantee results. That’s how you become a globally respected team,” declared Abedi Pelé.
