Former Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham striker Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor has predicted that Man City will retain the Premier League title by fending off Arsenal.
Despite their 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, April 28, 2024, to maintain their one-point advantage at the top, the Gunners only have a one-point lead over Man City, who also have a game in hand.
Adebayor picks Manchester City to win the Premier League
The former footballer has warned Arsenal that they could drop further points in their remaining three matches.
The Togolese legend told Premier League Productions:
“Anything is possible with Arsenal because we all know how they can play. This team is very young and very talented.
But am I sure they will get nine points? I am not sure. Anything can happen. We saw a few weeks ago they lost at home to Aston Villa.
Whereas if you ask me if Man City can win their next 20 matches, I would say yes because they have proven they can do it.
Arsenal looks better and stronger but I am not sure they will win their last three matches.”
This weekend, Arsenal and Manchester City will host Bournemouth and Wolves respectively as the title race goes down to the wire.
