Habib Beye, currently without a club since his departure from Red Star, could soon make a comeback in Ligue 1.
Last May, despite leading Red Star to promotion to Ligue 2, the coach made the bold decision to leave the club, aiming for a more ambitious challenge, preferably in Ligue 1. However, months have passed without him securing a new role, and he has since continued his work as a consultant for Canal Plus.
A potential opportunity at Stade Rennais?
According to France Bleu Armorique, an opportunity may finally arise for Beye. He is reportedly being considered to form a coaching duo with Matthieu Le Scornet, replacing Julien Stéphan at Stade Rennais. However, this plan faces competition from Sergio Conceição, who, after leaving Porto last summer, is also a candidate for the position, according to Foot Mercato. The outcome of this situation remains to be closely watched.
