The return of Ahmed Kendouci to Al Ahly in Egypt seems imminent for the upcoming season, according to revelations by media expert Mohamed Al-Yethi, as reported by the Egyptian site “Cairo 24.” The club management has reportedly decided to recall Kendouci at the end of his loan spell at Ceramica Cleopatra this summer, motivated by his remarkable performances and the necessity of his talent for the team.
Although coach Marcel Koller has not yet officially confirmed the return of the Algerian national team player, club officials seem unanimous on this decision, despite Koller’s initial doubts. This resolution also comes in the context of the expected departure of Mohamed El-Dawy Christo at the end of the current season, thereby allowing Kendouci to be registered in the first team for the next season.
Kendouci has stood out with remarkable performances at Cleopatra, contributing to 12 goals in various competitions, which has caught the attention of national team coach Vladimir Petkovic, who recently called him up for friendly matches with the national team. With this opportunity in the national team and his likely return to Al Ahly, Kendouci could be on the verge of reaching a new milestone in his football career.
