Ahmed Kendouci, the Algerian national team midfielder, finds himself out of favor with his club coach and could soon find a new opportunity in a minor league championship.

The future of Ahmed Kendouci, who spent last season on loan at Ceramica Cleopatra, continues to dominate headlines in the Egyptian press. He insists on returning to Al Ahly or securing a permanent move elsewhere, rejecting the club’s attempts to loan him out again.

Recent reports indicate Kendouci has received an enticing offer from a Qatari club. Al Ahly’s management might accept this proposal if Swiss coach Marcel Koller decides against retaining him. Egyptian journalist Medhat Shalaby revealed on a television show, “Al Ahly also received an offer from a European club, but it wasn’t serious. The Qatari offer is the most concrete, especially due to its significant financial value.”

He added, “Al Ahly could agree to Kendouci’s transfer to Qatar if Koller rejects his return. The player has also received local offers, including from Ceramica Cleopatra and ZED club, but he prefers to leave Egypt if Al Ahly doesn’t take him back at the end of the season.”

It’s worth noting that Kendouci was recently approached by a club from the UAE as well. However, negotiations faltered due to their demands to acquire the player on a free transfer.
