After its standoff with the CAF, USMA faces a significant pressure, this time from one of its own players!
In his debut season with USMA, Hocine Dehiri has shown promising signs. Primarily used as a left-back, he has always given his best, though his preferred position remains central defender.
USMA’s management has decided to buy out his contract from Paradou AC, allowing Dehiri to continue his journey with the club. The player is delighted with this decision and aims for an even better season ahead.
Dehiri expresses gratitude to Paradou for facilitating his transfer and feels comfortable at USMA. He aspires to progress further and gain more experience and maturity. His first season saw him establish himself as one of the most utilized players, despite playing on the left. For the upcoming season, he hopes to play more in the center of defense, his preferred role.
Collectively, Dehiri believes USMA had a respectable season, reaching the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup and the Algerian Cup, and qualifying for the next continental edition by finishing fourth in the league. He hopes the setbacks of the past season will serve as lessons, and with good recruitment and solid preparation, aims to win at least one title to not disappoint the fans.
