According to Liverpool Echo, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ management recently stated that they would not sell Rayan Ait-Nouri (23) this summer.
This decision comes as Liverpool has shown interest in the Algerian defender, who remains a key figure for Wolves with two years left on his contract, complicating efforts for interested clubs. Additionally, Ait-Nouri reportedly has a release clause exceeding €40 million.
The former Angers SCO player’s performances have attracted attention from several European clubs this season, including Chelsea, Real Madrid, and PSG. Despite widespread interest, he appears to favor a move to Anfield.
After making 33 Premier League appearances last season, the Algerian is a linchpin for O’Neil. While Wolves’ financial situation might lead them to consider selling top players this summer, they are not planning any departures at this time.
