A young talent from the national team is overshadowing the iconic Riyad Mahrez in a specific category on the international stage. Here are the details…
Farès Chaïbi, the Algerian international playing for Eintracht Frankfurt, is currently standing out as one of the top five most valuable players in the Algerian national team. According to recent data from “Transfermarkt,” the global reference site for market values, Chaïbi ranks fifth among players with the highest market value within the Fennecs.
During the recent period, Farès Chaïbi’s market value has significantly risen from 15 to 18 million euros, solidifying his position as the fifth most expensive player in the Algerian national team. Meanwhile, Riyad Mahrez, the undisputed star of the team, now ranks sixth in terms of market value, with an estimate of only 16 million euros.
The decline in Mahrez’s market value in recent times, as explained by “Transfermarkt,” contrasts with his peak in August 2018, when it reached 60 million euros after his sensational transfer to Manchester City from Leicester City, with whom he won the Premier League in 2016.
Moreover, Ismaël Bennacer from AC Milan tops the list of the most valuable players in the national team with an estimated value of 35 million euros, followed by Rayan Aït-Nouri with 32 million euros. Amine Gouiri and Saïd Benrahma round up the top five with values of 28 and 22 million euros respectively. These figures reflect the changing dynamics of market values within the Algerian national team and the evolution of players’ performances on the international stage.
