Algerian international player Sofiane Bendebka met with his agent Saleh Alyami this Sunday in Dubai to discuss offers he has received.

According to journalist Ahmed Aljadi, Bendebka is close to signing with clubs in the UAE or may choose to remain in the Saudi Arabian league.

Bendebka’s contract with his current club, Al Fateh, in the Saudi Pro League (Saudi D1), has expired, allowing the midfielder the opportunity to switch clubs during the summer transfer window. While Bendebka has been linked with his former club, Mouloudia d’Alger, it appears he will not be playing for MCA or any other club in Algeria.

Bendebka’s career, which began in Algeria, took an international turn when he moved to the Saudi league, where he made a name for himself with strong performances. His future now seems to be shaping up away from Algeria, with attractive prospects in the United Arab Emirates or possibly extending his stay in Saudi Arabia.

This choice could be motivated by his desire to face new challenges and continue developing in competitive leagues, while also benefiting from appealing financial opportunities. The coming weeks will be crucial for the 31-year-old Algerian international as he makes an important decision for the next stage of his professional career.
