The successor to the iconic captain of the Algerian national team, Riyad Mahrez, has already started his season with his new club in Europe.
Anis Hadj Moussa, Algerian international, began his first training session yesterday with his new club, Feyenoord Rotterdam, in preparation for the 2024-2025 season. Transferred from the Belgian club Patro Eisden last year for around 4 million euros, Hadj Moussa had previously shone during a loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem.
The Fennecs midfielder joined the squad in a session led by the new coach Brian Priske, an opportunity for him to familiarize himself with his new teammates and the coaching staff.
Prior to this integration, Hadj Moussa had been training individually under the guidance of the coaching staff to improve his physical condition and meet the demands of the upcoming championship.
Feyenoord is scheduled to play their first friendly match against FC Dordrecht next Saturday, where Hadj Moussa will have the opportunity to demonstrate his abilities and respond to criticisms about his seriousness in training, which were highlighted last season.
Regarded as a potential successor to Riyad Mahrez in the Algerian national team, according to Vladimir Petkovic and his staff, Hadj Moussa is determined to prove himself at his new club and contribute to Feyenoord’s success this season.
Stay tuned to follow Anis Hadj Moussa’s progress at Feyenoord Rotterdam as the new season approaches rapidly.
