Algerian international Amir Sayoud was spotted in the stands at Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers during the MCA-CRB match of the 28th round of the Algerian Ligue 1 Mobilis.

His presence sparked numerous speculations. Some wondered if the Al Raed player would replace the injured Yacine Brahimi in the Fennecs’ match against Guinea. However, it appears that Amir Sayoud was simply visiting Algeria.

Upon his arrival in his homeland, the former Al Ahly player addressed his absence from the final list of the Algerian national team established by coach Vladimir Petkovic. “As always, I received a preliminary call-up, but I was not in the final list. I hope to have a chance in the future, and I’m working hard to achieve that,” he told Echorouk TV.

The 33-year-old player, currently playing for Al Raed in Saudi Arabia, continues to harbor hopes of returning to the ranks of the Greens. His consistent performance at the club and his fervent desire to represent his country testify to his commitment and determination. Though he is not part of the team for the current matches, Sayoud remains optimistic and determined to seize any future opportunity.
