Hicham Boudaoui, who was a regular feature for OGC Nice last season, has been seen at the club’s preseason, indicating he remains in the south of France.
Despite rumors of Nice wanting to part ways with Boudaoui, a significant turnaround has occurred in recent hours. Boudaoui, who featured prominently in Nice’s lineup, demonstrated his importance to the team.
Despite occasional dips in form and limited appearances, the Béchar native managed to score two goals for his club. Boudaoui is ready to tackle new challenges and strengthen his role under the new technical direction.
Meanwhile, Badredine Bouanani returns to Nice after half a season on loan at FC Lorient. Although the Algerian prodigy and his teammates couldn’t keep Lorient in Ligue 1, his time there provided valuable exposure with 11 appearances and 1 goal. Now back at Nice, Bouanani is determined to establish himself under new coach Franck Haise and prove he deserves a starting spot.
Also returning to the Aiglons is Billal Brahimi, after a year away from the club. The Algerian forward had a disappointing season at Stade Brestois, playing only 317 minutes without scoring. At 24, Brahimi aims to revive his career in the 2024/2025 season, rediscovering his form and goal-scoring prowess. His return presents an opportunity to showcase his worth and significantly contribute to OGC Nice’s ambitions.
