Former Algerian national team coach, Rabah Saâdane, has expressed his commitment to supporting current national team coach Vladimir Petkovic.

In a statement to Constantine radio, Saâdane, a revered figure in Algerian football, praised Petkovic’s work, saying, “Petkovic is a respected coach. I wish him every success with our national team.

I am at his service, and he can count on my experience and support. I am older and have contributed a lot to Algerian football. The Algerian Football Federation has faced many conflicts and international sports problems that delayed my entry into technical management. I hope to meet Petkovic again soon to revitalize the national team program and improve their levels.”

Saâdane emphasized the importance for Algeria’s current coach to embrace new technologies and modern methods in football to ensure the national team’s success. He also called for giving Petkovic the necessary time to implement his vision and rejuvenate the team.

The veteran Algerian coach also shared some of his own experiences, noting the challenges he faced during his career, including conflicts and international sports problems that could have delayed his involvement in technical management.

Saâdane concluded by expressing hope for collaborating again with Petkovic in the near future to contribute to the development and enhancement of Algerian national teams’ performances.
