Recent trips by his mother, Fayza Lamari, to Algeria left little doubt, and the main person involved has finally spoken about it and confirmed, albeit vaguely, the possibility of a trip to Algeria this summer.
“We are finalizing the details. There’s a lot at stake. We’re trying to organize everything, but the Champions League is monopolizing our attention; it requires a lot of energy and focus. You will be informed very soon, and it promises to be an exciting summer,” said the Paris Saint-Germain forward on Sunday to the media outlet Brut. It is rumored that his journey to Algeria would include a stop in Bejaia, specifically in Amizour, his Algerian mother’s region of origin, as well as a likely visit to the iconic Casbah in Algiers.
He’s going to fund 4 projects in Algeria!
As a reminder, the Bleus captain’s family association, “Inspired By Kylian Mbappé” (IBKM), plans to finance four projects in the country of the Fennecs in collaboration with the local authorities. These projects include the construction of three football pitches in Feraoun, Amizour and Bejaïa, as well as the creation of a craft centre for housewives in Feraoun. These initiatives will contribute to the economic and social development of the region, with a particular focus on empowering women.
