According to journalist Moumen Ait Kaci, Algerian international Ryad Boudebouz will not be signing with MC Alger or any other Algerian club after all.
The 34-year-old player, currently out of contract with Saudi club Ohod Club, has decided against a move to the Algerian league, despite recent rumors and speculation.
Known for his refined technique and playmaking abilities, Boudebouz has spent most of his career in Europe, notably in France with Sochaux, Bastia, Montpellier, and in Spain with Real Betis.
His potential return to Algeria would have been a significant addition to the national league, bringing valuable international experience and increased media attention.
However, it appears Boudebouz has other plans. At 34, he may be looking to extend his career in a competitive league where he can continue performing at a high level. Details about his next club remain uncertain, but it’s clear he won’t be joining MC Alger or any other Ligue 1 Mobilis club for the upcoming season.
