One of the players of the Algerian team received bad news after getting injured during his team’s match.
It’s the Algerian international Adem Zorgane, who has been in great form and sporting the captain’s armband for three consecutive matches, he was forced to leave the field just after the hour mark due to an injury.
Charleroi’s team, on a steady rise, notched their third straight victory in the Belgian league play-downs, leading 2-0 against Eupen.
Zorgane, once again delivering a top-notch performance in midfield, was actively contributing to this lead, putting his team on the path to almost assured maintenance.
Unfortunately, during an aerial duel, the Algerian landed awkwardly and felt pain in his knee. Forced off the field, he was substituted in the 63rd minute. The severity of his injury remains unknown for now, casting uncertainty on his condition and availability for upcoming matches.
