Algerian international and Charleroi club player, Adem Zorgane, recently discussed the future of the national team, the Fennecs, alongside Bosnian coach Vladimir Petkovic, emphasizing the importance of supporting the latter to achieve set goals.
In statements to Belgian media, Zorgane emphasized: “Now, there is a new coach with a lot of scores to settle and objectives. We must be united because we play for the country and the people.”
Continuing his remarks, the former ES Setif player added: “Even the media must help the coach… We must be united because we are all Algerians.”
He then asserted: “We must go far, and first, we must be one group, to beat any team.”
Regarding his former teammate at Paradou, Abdelkahar Kadri, whom he recently met in Belgium during the match between Charleroi and Courtrai, Zorgane shared: “Kadri is more than a friend, he’s my brother, we played together for 11 full seasons at Paradou.”
He then added humorously: “We slept together, ate together, and studied together. It was a great honor to play with him on the field, but unfortunately, I couldn’t pass him the ball because he was on another team.”
Zorgane concluded by stating: “Kadri is a great player, and I believe he can go far in his football career. He is an important player for the national team.” A strong statement that could certainly catch Vladimir Petkovic’s attention.
