Recruited by Feyenoord last April after a fierce battle with several clubs, including Ajax Amsterdam, Anis Hadj Moussa will be back on the field much earlier than expected.
Feyenoord started their preparations for the new season this Monday, with thirteen players present on the pitch. Other players will join the team later, starting with Algerian international Anis Hadj Moussa.
According to media outlet 1908, Hadj Moussa has been called up to resume training individually starting this Thursday, June 27. Apparently, the Dutch club wants to assess their new recruit first before providing him with a personalized training plan.
With this transfer, the Algerian winger takes a step forward in his young career as he will be competing in the Champions League next season. Some rumors suggested Feyenoord might loan him out this summer, but his agent recently denied these claims, stating that the club trusts him.
Having experienced a meteoric rise this season, Hadj Moussa has made a name for himself, earning a call-up to the Algerian national team last March. Although he was also called up in June, manager Vladimir Petkovic chose to keep him on the bench.
