Samuel Eto’o, the current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT), seems to be facing one trouble after another at lightning speed.

Following investigations by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), now FIFA is also looking into possible infractions by the head of Cameroonian football.

The pressure is mounting on the former Inter Milan striker, who has drawn widespread criticism due to his stubbornness and what many observers deem as “disastrous” management.

Samuel Eto’o finds himself increasingly isolated. Recently questioned by CAF regarding allegations of match-fixing in the local league, he might soon face FIFA’s Ethics Committee for the same issue.

Coupled with his loss of control over the national team due to a power move by Sports Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, the Douala native appears more vulnerable than ever.

Known for his fighting spirit, Samuel Eto’o must not give up, even though he is currently on shaky ground and risks suffering significant setbacks.
