In a podcast published by “LaChaineSoninke” across social media platforms, the president of FECAFOOT, present in Montreuil, discussed his work at the Cameroonian Football Federation.

“A few years ago, I didn’t think I would return to Cameroon to contribute to development in my sector, but there came a moment when I made that decision and I am fully committed. It’s not always easy […] I have no doubt. You know, when you’re at the helm of an institution like this (FECAFOOT), you regularly face challenges. You have to overcome them. There are new challenges that are not easy but you took the job for that.

I am fortunate to have a good team behind me. We’re moving forward, making our way. Often, when you’ve overcome a challenge, it seems normal to everyone, but yet, nobody had done it before.

So, you have to keep working, and in the end, we will realize that we have truly progressed,” said Samuel Eto’o Fils. This statement by the president of FECAFOOT provides valuable insight into his commitment to the development of football in Cameroon and his determination to overcome obstacles to achieve his goals.
