As previously announced, the journey of Cameroonian striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting at Bayern Munich is coming to an end.

Bayern Munich has officially confirmed on their X account the departure of the 35-year-old center-forward, who has been with the club since his free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in October 2020.

The German powerhouse wished the player all the best for his future endeavors. The Cameroonian goal scorer leaves the Munich side with a record of 122 matches, 38 goals, and 13 assists. In the 2023/24 season, he appeared in 34 matches across all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists.

Often found on the bench, the Lions Indomptables striker has only managed 921 minutes of playing time, facing tough competition from English international Harry Kane. The Cameroonian is reportedly in discussions with clubs from the Middle East but has yet to make a decision. He is also said to be on the radar of Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.
