A reliable source reports that the delegation consists of about ten Brazilian businessmen. Observers from our local community note that this is the first time in Cameroon’s history that Brazilian players have set foot on Cameroonian soil.

This explains why the mobilization involves not only the highest Cameroonian authorities but also several companies from both the public and private sectors. It’s hardly breaking news to state that Brazil is the most successful nation in world football.

“Always at the top in the FIFA rankings, the upcoming Cameroun-Brazil showcase matches to be held at the Japoma Stadium in Douala and the Olembe complex in Yaoundé in December will attract at least 120,000 attendees. The highest authority of the Republic, President Paul Biya, has already endorsed this unprecedented event that will celebrate the national team. This is an opportunity for companies, ministries, regardless of their type, to leverage this grand communion between the Cameroonian people and Brazil, represented by these football legends, to promote their actions, products, and projects,” a source explained.

Ticket sales for these matches will open in the cities of Yaoundé, Douala, and Kribi. It is important to note that the arrival of these Brazilian football legends on Sunday, May 12, 2024, precedes the back-and-forth gala matches between Cameroon and Brazil, which will be held on December 7 at night at Japoma Stadium in Douala and on December 14 at night at the Olembe Sports Complex in Yaoundé. These legends have been invited by the young industrial leader Tony Obam.
