The meeting between the new coach of the Cameroon national team, Marc Brys, and the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fécafoot), Samuel Eto’o, might well fall through…
More than a month after Marc Brys was appointed by the Ministry of Sports without the approval of Samuel Eto’o, the coach could finally meet with the former star. A meeting is reportedly scheduled for next Tuesday, initiated by Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi.
Recent trends seem to indicate a calming of tensions. The coming days will tell… Initially, the pessimistic trend seems to be confirmed with information from specialist Richard Naha, who suggests that Eto’o refused to sign Brys’s contract during the meeting at the Prime Minister’s office with Minister Mouelle Kombi and will not honor this appointment. As a reminder, FIFA has disavowed the Belgian technician as the coach of Cameroon until his situation is resolved. This is a developing story…
