Yvan Neyou will not be taking part in the upcoming matches for the Indomitable Lions. The midfielder is sidelined due to injury.
“Unfortunately, I won’t be able to join the gathering of the Indomitable Lions due to a thigh discomfort. I’m deeply disappointed, but I send all my strength to my teammates, the staff, and the Cameroonian supporters. Go Lions!” Yvan Neyou wrote.
As a result, the midfielder won’t be available for selection by coach Marc Brys for the matches against Cape Verde and Angola, which are part of the 3rd and 4th rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Neyou is the only player missing from the squad list called up by the 61-year-old Belgian coach.
