The latest find by the Belgian coach is Pierre Ekwah, the valiant defensive midfielder from the English club Sunderland.

Born in France in 2022 to Cameroonian parents, he is eligible to represent both the “Bleus” and the “Indomitable Lions.” Pierre Ekwah has already represented France in youth teams but can still change his nationality in accordance with FIFA regulations.

Pierre Ekwah’s stats for the 2023-2024 season:

The Massy native participated in 41 matches in the current season, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists.

Trained at Brétigny in France, Pierre Ekwah later joined the Clairefontaine training center before playing for Nantes, Chelsea, West Ham, and most recently Sunderland.

Under contract with the “Black Cats” until 2027, the dual-national talent has a market value of 2.8 million euros on the “transfermarket” website.

A versatile player, Pierre Ekwah is capable of playing as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder.
