Cameroonian forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Bayern Munich welcome Arsenal this Wednesday for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Bayern Munich, with Choupo-Moting, who will not be Bundesliga champions for the first time since 2013, will try to salvage their season (having lost in the Super Cup final this year) by winning the Champions League.

Choupo-Moting the only Cameroonian footballer still involved in the Champions League

After securing a good draw in England (2-2) on April 9th thanks to goals from Gnabry and the inevitable Harry Kane from the penalty spot, the Bavarian club will look to finish the job at the Allianz Arena in this quarter-final return leg on Wednesday, April 17th.

Unbeaten at home in the Champions League for 3 years, Choupo-Moting and his teammates, the favorites, will try to book their spot in the semi-finals of this UCL in front of their supporters. Choupo-Moting is experiencing a very difficult end to the season at Bayern Munich. The Cameroonian, who was on the bench against Arsenal in the first leg, has only played 145 minutes out of 1440 in all competitions in 2024 and has started only 2 games. The arrival of Harry Kane has truly turned the career of the serial goalscorer from Cameroon in Germany upside down.
