Former Togo international striker Emmanuel Adebayor defends Samuel Eto’o and mocks Marc Brys.
As the war between the Cameroon Football Federation (Fécafoot) and the Ministry of Sport (Minsep) has turned into a latent conflict over preparations for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Emmanuel Adebayor has come to Samuel Eto’o’s defence.
“He’s someone who’s ready to die for his country, someone who gives his best for the continent, and now he’s being blocked like this. It’s hot (…) I have confidence in him.
He’s a competitor, so I know there won’t be any problems,” said the former Togo captain in a Live Tik Tok interview. The former Arsenal player is surprised that Marc Brys exists as a coach.
“Brys or bruch, I’ve never followed his name. I don’t know him. Sometimes they bring us people we don’t know, even though there are so many legends in Cameroon. Why go looking for someone you don’t know, and what’s more, he’s old.
