The president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT), Samuel Eto’o Fils, has shed light on the challenges at the helm of Cameroonian football and his approach to managing them.

In a podcast published by “LaChaineSoninke” on social media, the president of FECAFOOT, who was present in Montreuil, discussed his work at the Cameroonian Football Federation.

“A few years ago, I didn’t think I would return to Cameroon to contribute to development in my sector, but there came a moment when I made that decision and I’m fully immersed in it. It’s not always easy… I have no doubts. You know, when you’re at the helm of an institution like this (FECAFOOT), you regularly encounter challenges. You have to overcome them,” said Samuel Eto’o Fils. With the challenges ahead, Samuel Eto’o Fils is delighted to have a team to rely on. The president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) promises that in the long run, people will realize the results.

“There are new challenges that are not easy, but you took the job for that. I am fortunate to have a good team to rely on. We are moving forward, making our way. Often, when you have overcome a challenge, it seems normal to everyone, but no one had done it before. So, we must continue to work, and in the end, we will realize that we have truly progressed.”
