Newcomer to the den of the Indomitable Lions, midfielder Carlos Baleba shares his first impressions.
The Cameroon Indomitable Lions are currently training at the Ngoa-Ekelle Military Stadium in Yaoundé. Carlos Baleba, the much-anticipated new Lion, is in Cameroon to represent the country.
“I am very happy to be here for my first time with the national team, I am very proud to wear the green-red-yellow. The atmosphere is good in the den,” said the Brighton midfielder during the Cameroonian team’s first training session. The Cameroon selection faces two crucial matches in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. Cameroon will take on Cape Verde and Angola, both quarter-finalists of the 2023 AFCON.
