Idriss Carlos Kameni has been appointed as the goalkeeping coach for the Indomitable Lions by the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT).
As part of a new technical staff announced by FECAFOOT on May 8, 2024, Kameni will take on this role, a significant surprise given that former Indomitable Lion, Thomas Nkono, was repeatedly mentioned for the position.
The Cameroon Football Federation is making some changes to the technical staff of Marc Brys, appointed by the Minister of Sports. This was the essence of the document released moments ago by the federation, following its emergency committee meeting.
The federation has reorganized the staff of the Indomitable Lions as named by the Minister of Sports but has retained Marc Brys and his two foreign assistants. However, the goalkeeping coach Alioum Boukar has been removed from his position. In his place, Samuel Eto’o has notably appointed Idriss Carlos Kameni, who is not officially retired, as the goalkeeping coach.
