The current situation surrounding the Cameroonian national team, the Indomitable Lions, and the selection of the national coach is drawing significant attention from journalist Roland Tsapi.
With the recent decision made by the Conciliation and Arbitration Chamber of the Cameroonian National Olympic and Sports Committee, the fate of coach Marc Brys is now in question.
Indeed, for many observers, the Indomitable Lions currently find themselves without a coach just days before two important matches for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. This has led Roland Tsapi to suggest the return of Rigobert Song.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen. Shouldn’t we consider recalling Rigobert Song?” Roland Tsapi raised on the Balafon TV program.
The ultimate solution that could be available to the State of Cameroon would be to revoke the accreditation of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot).
A prospect that seemingly doesn’t please many. Rigobert Song didn’t leave good memories with Cameroonians during his time on the Indomitable Lions’ bench.
