For Jean Crépin Nyamsi, the president of FECFAFOOT, he won’t meet the new coach of the Indomitable Lions. Marc Brys, the coach of the Indomitable Lions, might finally meet Samuel Eto’o in Yaoundé.
It’s been a month since his appointment, and the Belgian technician still hasn’t met with the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation. According to Jeune Afrique, the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, is organizing a meeting between the Belgian technician and the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation.
The main objective of this meeting is to bring all concerned parties together to encourage them to work together effectively. This collaboration aims to optimize the preparation of the Indomitable Lions for their upcoming World Cup 2026 qualifying matches.
But for Jean Crépin Nyamsi, a faithful and loyal ally of the President of FECFAFOOT, Samuel Eto’o will not meet Marc Brys. “What will they talk about? The President of FECFAFOOT was not elected to have things imposed on him and then talk about a peace meeting afterward. Why seek this meeting with Samuel Eto’o? When things are done right, nobody needs a mediator,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
Samuel Eto’o does not recognize this staff. He has, in fact, appointed Serges Pensy on Thursday as the number one deputy coordinator of the national teams. This position has been held by Hervé Mveng since April 1st, who was appointed to Marc Brys’s staff.
The new coach of the Indomitable Lions, Marc Brys, is back in Cameroon after his European tour. The Antwerp native in Belgium will now prepare for the matches against Cape Verde and Angola in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
