The Belgian manager held a press conference this Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Omnisport Stadium in Yaoundé. He unveiled his first squad selection with Cameroon.
It’s official. Marc Brys, the head coach of the Indomitable Lions, has just published his first team list as the bench boss of the main squad of Cameroon. This occurred following a press conference that the Belgian gave in the press room of the Omnisport Stadium in Yaoundé. It was a real baptism of fire for the Belgian, who turned 62 this Friday, May 10, 2024.
The list marks the return of players like Choupo Moting, Michael Ngadeu, Martin Hongla, and Jean Onana. The head coach of the Indomitable Lions commented on this choice. “We looked for players who have talent but are not very well-known,” said Marc Brys, who just completed a two-week European tour since signing his contract in early April at the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education. In total, he selected 30 players. These 30 preselected members of the Indomitable Lions will face Cape Verde and Angola in the upcoming June matches for the World Cup qualifiers.
