Hugo Ekitike will continue his journey in Germany. Eintracht Frankfurt has exercised the purchase option for the 21-year-old striker, who was loaned from Paris Saint-Germain.
Hugo Ekitike won’t be returning to PSG. Loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga at the start of the season, the French-Cameroonian striker will extend his adventure in Germany. On this Friday, April 26th, Eintracht Frankfurt triggered the purchase option for the young forward. The fee is reported to be between €16 and €20 million.
“The 1.89-meter-tall striker has already played twelve matches with Eintracht Frankfurt. The Frenchman scored his first goal in the Bundesliga on the last matchday. By exercising the purchase option, Ekitike secures a contract until 2029,” the German club stated. It’s a new era unfolding for Hugo Ekitike, who aims to etch his name in the annals of the German club. Following his brief stint at PSG, Ekitike is determined to make his mark with Eintracht Frankfurt.
