This Thursday, Brighton, led by Carlos Baleba, will host Manchester City in a rescheduled match for the 29th round of the Premier League.

It’s one of the fixtures to catch up on from the 29th round of the Premier League! Brighton currently sits in 11th place in the standings, with just a few games left… It’s been a truly disappointing season for Carlos Baleba and the Seagulls, who have struggled to find their form. They haven’t won a match in nearly 4 rounds. Roberto De Zerbi’s team was recently held to a draw by Burnley (1-1). The task ahead looks even more challenging with the visit of Manchester City.

It’s a mission that promises to be quite difficult. Carlos Baleba and his teammates have a big opportunity to seize in front of their supporters. Roberto De Zerbi will be looking for redemption, especially since in the reverse fixture, Brighton lost 1-2. The Cameroonian international was included in the starting lineup by the Italian coach. But tonight, the stakes are high. The Skyblues are in a fierce battle for the Premier League title. They currently sit in 3rd place in the Premier League. However, they’re only 1 point behind Liverpool (who lost last night to Everton), and 4 points behind Arsenal, the leaders, with 2 fewer games played (including this one against the Seagulls)! Pep Guardiola’s men therefore hold their fate in their hands to clinch another title.

Carlos Baleba could be a starter after his impressive performance against Burnley at Turf Moor. The 20-year-old Cameroonian midfielder has been stepping up his game in recent weeks. With 21 appearances in the Premier League so far, he’s considered the future of the national team.

Will he be part of the expedition next June with the Indomitable Lions? That’s the question on the lips of many Cameroonians.
