With a well-established source, the Prime Minister, head of government, has instructed the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) to collaborate closely with the Minister of Sports and Physical Education.
The end might be in sight for the infamous saga between the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) led by Samuel Eto’o and the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi. Today, May 2, 2024, Actu Cameroun learns that Joseph Dion Ngute, the Prime Minister and head of the Government, has urged the president of FECAFOOT to work together with the new technical staff appointed by the Minister of Sports.
According to our colleagues at Magic FM, a local radio station broadcasting from Yaoundé, Cameroon, Samuel Eto’o, the president of FECAFOOT, has been instructed to finalize the signing of the various members of the technical staff by Friday at the latest. Additionally, he is to provide Marc Brys and his staff with all necessary resources for a conducive working environment.
A permanent consultation is now imperative to block the path of charlatans spreading lies and divisions. Just yesterday, Wednesday, Jean Paul Akono praised the gesture of the government. “A very, very good piece of news, and a very beautiful initiative from the Prime Minister.
Let us all pray together so that, at the end of this consultation, the pipe of peace and reason for our football and for the greatness of our beautiful country, and its reputation in the world, will be smoked by all parties with sincerity,” he stated in a message circulating on the web.
“…Trust, all of this in mutual respect and the convergence of viewpoints and solutions towards the same direction, for positive results in the upcoming challenges, namely qualification for the next World Cup and the next Africa Cup of Nations… A permanent consultation is now imperative to block the path of charlatans spreading lies and divisions,” he continued.
