Etienne, the eldest son of Samuel Eto’o, has signed an agreement with Rayo Vallecano and, according to Spanish media, will play for the reserve team.
This signing follows another by the son of another legend, Francesco Totti, who tried out with the club’s youth team.
Eto’o’s son arrives at Rayo Vallecano
The son of the former striker for Mallorca, Leganes, Real Madrid, and Barcelona is coming to Vallecas to strengthen Jorge Vallejo’s team.
Rayo Vallecano’s reserve team managed to secure 39 points, narrowly ahead of their competitors, on the final day of the Third Federation.
Etienne plays as a center forward, like his father, and was one of the top scorers in his group of the RFEF Tercera with 15 goals.
Eto’o comes from Rayo Majadahonda, although he was loaned this season to CUC Villalba, which shares the same group as Rayo B. In his early days at Vallecas, the player born in Palma de Mallorca trained with the first team under Iñigo Pérez, who wants to assess him before the start of La Liga EA Sports.
Etienne Eto’o joins Christian Totti
Etienne has already made a significant impact in Madrid football. His arrival recalls others that took place a few months ago in the ranks of Rayo Vallecano’s youth teams.
Most notably, Christian Totti, son of the legendary Roma player, arrived in Madrid to trial with Rayo Vallecano’s Juvenil A (U19) team.
Coming from Frosinone U19, Cristian trained with Toni Paredes’ team, which competes in the division of honor.
