The Minister of Sports, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, has responded to Samuel Eto’o following FIFA’s correspondence regarding the appointment of Marc Brys as head coach of the Indomitable Lions.
The tug-of-war between the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) and the Ministry of Sports continues. After sending a letter to the Minister of Sports following FIFA’s correspondence, Samuel Eto’o still hopes to participate in the process of appointing the new coach of the Lions.
In the meantime, Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi has responded to this new correspondence. The government official believes that FIFA’s letter does not challenge the legitimacy of the appointments made by the ministry.
He calls on all parties to set aside their differences and focus on the upcoming challenges for the Indomitable Lions.
